PARSON'S CHALLENGE 1/3

“For God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable.” (Romans 11:29) Having a friendship is like receiving a gift. Once it’s yours, it is your’s forever. It is the most wonderful and precious thing you can receive from someone. Inside the beautifully and wrapped cage will hold a delicate but strong chain of trust. The cage disguised as a gift, is the beginning of a new friendship. The cage symbolizing the eternal trust. The gift symbolizing the most precious thing someone can give you. The colors of the sunrise and falling of the leaves shows a the ending and beginning of a beautiful friendship. As each season passes, and the leaves fall, it shows the growth of this remarkable gift, this relationship between two people. Another cage, another friendship of trust added on to what is one’s life. “A gift opens the way for the giver and ushers him into the presence of the great.” (Proverbs 18:16)

PARSON'S CHALLENGE 2/3

“He mocks proud mockers but gives grace to the humble.”( Proverbs 3:34) People are spoiled sometimes because everything comes to them. When one is spoiled they tend to take something as important as friendship for granted. They are, maybe, clueless of how precious friendships truly are. Sadly and unknowingly people abuse this special relationship. Little by little, we abuse them until there is nothing left to hold on to, slipping through our fingers. It would begin to loose its security and one day the cage of friendship will break open and the precious thing we call friends will fly away. This is the mockery they will see from God for asking too much. They will never learn their lesson until they disappear forever or witness them flying away. “Before his downfall a man’s heart is proud, but humility comes before honor.” ( Proverbs 18:12)

PARSON'S CHALLENGE 3/3

“ Even in laughter the heart may ache, and joy may end in grief”. (Proverbs 14:13) Struggling to gain the special relationship of friendship is something that people go through. Hoping to catch back what‘s been lost is even harder. Avery pitiful situation but it is something we all must go through. We can compare friendships with butterflies. Butterflies tend to fly away from sudden movements that are very close to them and they are the very fragile if you are not careful. So the catcher has to be very delicate and gentle in doing so. Just like a friend, fragile, and we must be careful in trying to gain one back. Sometimes you have to accept what is coming to you. It can never be the same but when you try hard enough, you will be go back to the days where the sun rises . Another new beginning of old and new friendship.
